Use DACs on Spectrum Next for MOD playback

The Next has 4xDAC channels that can be used to playback PCM sound, this would be perfect for the MOD conversions.

There are already examples of trackers on the Spectrum that use “SoundDrive” to play back MODs and it sounds much better than making the AY play sample data.

Hi!
I’m sure not about this actually. If you want to compose a MOD and hear a “perfect” replay, wouldn’t a software like ModPlug Tracker be a better choice?
My aim with the sample replay of AT2 is to reproduce the “crappyness” of our poor AY/YM when it comes to playing a sample. So it seems to me that having a good sample replay is a bit out of scope. What do you think?
