The volume of some instruments can’t be changed…

Again, it’s all in the title…
Is it normal that the volume of some instruments (like Hard A) cannot be changed?

Yes, it is normal and is a limitation of the PSG. “Hardware” sound means that the volume envelope is managed by the hardware. A “A/8/…” envelope is like saying to the hardware “play this waveform by yourself”. So we delegate the volume handling to the PSG, and have no control over it.

Crap.. It’s boring because this instrument, precisely, would be very useful to me in a lot of compositions :p.
